A Moveable Feast: Fiber, Found Objects, and Apple Prunings

  • Old Frog Pond Farm & Studio 38 Eldridge Road Harvard, MA, 01451 United States (map)

Come gather with artists Barbara Andrus, Louise Berliner, and Linda Hoffman at Old Frog Pond Farm in Harvard, where Agriculture, Art and Community cross-pollinate and collaborate.

Using a forgotten farm cart as our base we will construct a (travelling?) folly*, built from this year’s apple prunings and your fiber scraps. Search your drawers, clean out your closets, look under the bed, grab old clothes, hunt at the dump, or splurge on something glittering and irresistible! Bring scissors, clippers, all kinds of string and rope, crochet hooks, anything you like to work with.

Bring a lunch. The farm's own organic apple cider will be provided.

Free, but limited to 15 participants, so please reserve your place!

RSVP: strongwhitepine@verizon.net

*folly: a construction with no practical purpose...
