Knit Democracy Together—Representing All Voices: Alternatives to Gerrymandering and Winner-Take-All Primaries

  • Jamaica Plain Library 30 South Street Boston, MA, 02130 United States (map)

Increase your democracy literacy while you knit or crochet a piece of a collaborative sculpture of the Massachusetts State House. It’s a metaphor for representative democracy. At this knitting circle, you’ll deepen your understanding of the electoral process and engage in discussion with other civically minded crafters.

Led by artist and former election lawyer Eve Jacobs-Carnahan.

Materials provided; bring knitting needles or crochet hooks if you have them. Non-knitters welcome. More info at knitdemocracy.org.

General Note: Please visit our collaborator’s website for the most up-to-date information on all events.
