An exhibition of fiber work in response to Ursula Le Guin’s Carrier Bag of Fiction (or Art) essay. The theory suggests that the first tool may not have been a sharp and pointy aggressive implement but instead a useful vessel for carrying berries, potatoes or babies. Come see how fiber artists in this exhibition explore the concept of the “vessel.”
